My youngest daughter's birthday is next week and she wants to go camping Saturday night as a birthday present. We plan on camping around Hillsdale Lake, and trying to snag some catfish while we are there. My oldest also has to participate in the Spring Hill fall festival, so we will be doing that Saturday morning.

Well I am going to be throwing hay all weekend. Got a minimum of 1200 bails to pick up so I should be sore and tired by Monday. Will gladly take the kids campng for you if you want to pick up hay for me:- )Hope ya'll have some good luck on the fish. Last weekend my old man caught 2 cats on 13 and one 14 on saturday I went with him o Sunday and never got a bite. Same old story should have been here yesterday.

I wish I could. We went on Friday night, instead of Saturday as originally planned. We only caught two channel cats in 7 hours. They were definitely biting, but we only hooked two.

You did better than I did you caught two. I am going to take my kids deer scouting tom. and if we have time maybe do a little cat fishing. No babysitter so have to get out nd do something.

Well, I'm going to take my boy camping... looking for sugestions within an hour or two from kansas city... i live in the state of misery and wonder if anyone has some ideas for good camping in missouri. (not longview, lone jack or the like) has anyone been to truman lake? what is that like?
