Kids finally got old enough to sit still long enough to get the shot. They arent the biggest birds but both had 10 inch beards and 3/4 inch spurs. Was a good morning and now my daughter wants to turkey hunt every day. She is already begging to go deer hunting.

Bah, you are lying unless I see some pictures. :)
My neighbor here in Sprung Hill shot a tom last year that was in the top 5 ever recorded in Kansas. Should have seen this bird after he mounted it. Made me jealous.

The daughter and I shot one that was tied for 18th in the State. 11 1/2 inch beard 1 5/8 inch spurs and weighed a little over 28 pounds I think it scored 83 1/8. That was the second or third largest bird in this spot I hunt if I ever get the big one to mess up he will score really high.
